
An In-Person Training Hosted by CalCSA
Interested in learning how to better serve and support neurodivergent individuals, both as customers and colleagues? Join us as we explore how to recognize common traits of autism, ADHD, and related conditions, and how these traits may be misunderstood in courtrooms or workplaces. The workshop will address hiring barriers, inclusive communication, and strengths-based strategies. Through simulations, hands-on tools, and group discussion, attendees will gain practical skills to foster equity, authenticity, and resilience in service delivery and professional settings.

This training is designed for child support agency staff, supervisors, and anyone who interacts with the public, hires or supports team members, or wants to build more inclusive, neurodiversity-affirming practices in the workplace. No prior experience with neurodiversity topics is required.
This training is offered three times, in three different locations. All three sessions cover the same content, so feel free to register for whichever date and location works best for you.

Luke Pilalas
Luke Pilalas is a Child Support Specialist with three years of experience at Solano County Child Support Services, bringing a strong background in public-facing work from his prior five year role with Solano County Probation as a receptionist. In 2026 he spoke at CalCSA’s yearly conference to a statewide audience on the subject of Serving Neurodivergent Customers and Coworkers. Diagnosed with ADHD at 29, Luke offers both professional and personal insight into neurodiversity, using his experiences to help others better understand and support neurodivergent customers and coworkers.
Registration is $99 per person and includes the training session and all accompanying materials.

CalCSA is committed to making this training accessible to all attendees. Is the training content the same at every session?
Yes. All three sessions cover identical content, so you're welcome to register for whichever date and location is most convenient for you.
What's included in the registration fee?
Your $99 registration includes the training session and all training materials.
Can I pay by invoice instead of credit card?

What if I need to cancel my registration?
