Course description:
Civility in the Legal Profession: How to be a good and effective advocate for your client without the need to be a bully to opposing counsel
In movies and television shows, we often see “good” lawyers being depicted as hostile bullies, yelling at opposing counsel and hiding the ball. Does being a good lawyer mean that we need to take an overly aggressive stance with opposing counsel and the Court? Join us for a presentation and discussion about civility in the legal profession. Learn about the Who, What, When, How, and Why there needs to be civility in the legal profession and also satisfy the newest mandatory MCLE requirement.
