Cassandra Mena-Ramirez

Staff Development Coordinator, Department of Child Support Services of San Diego County

With over a decade in Child Support Services, Cassandra has held various roles from working the frontlines as an Assistant Child Support Officer to leading teams and workgroups in various capacities. Passionate in “empowering our teams to have a positive impact,” she is eager to share key concepts learned throughout a leader’s journey. Cassandra holds a Master of Organizational Leadership from Oral Roberts University and currently leads DCSS’s specialized Staff Development Unit.

Safeen Akrawi

Staff Development Specialist, Department of Child Support Services of San Diego County

With over five years of experience, Safeen brings extensive knowledge in child support policies, procedures, training, and outreach services. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from San Diego State University and is part of DCSS’s specialized Staff Development Unit, where he assists with the development, implementation, and oversight of staff training programs.
